Fellowship and Services
Communion
Sunday, Anytime Between 9:30-10AM or after our service
Communion elements will be set on Sunday in the prayer communion room. For anyone who would like to partake, you can join us downstairs in the educational building.
Fellowship & Coffee
Sunday 9:50-10:20 AM
Join us for a time of fellowship over coffee before our worship service. This is a great time to fellowship with other members or meet with Pastor Alan Yawn and some of our staff for an overview of opportunities to take part in our fellowship.
Discipleship and Small Groups

We have Sunday school classes every Sunday during the worship service for our grade school ages. We also have adult small groups that meet throughout the week all over the county and “Wednesday Night Fellowship”; come and get plugged in!
Worship Service

Our worship service takes place every Sunday morning at 10:30 in the Sanctuary, and is simulcast to our fellowship hall. Join us for a time of worship, prayer, and a message from the Scriptures.

Thankgiving
Community Thanksgiving celebration begins at 5:30PM on the Sunday before Thanksgiving at Holston Camp
Christmas
Caroling on the first Wednesday in December, 6:30 at the elk statue in downtown Banner Elk. Community candlelight Christmas service at Mt. Cavalry Baptist Church at 6PM on December 11th. BECF’s Longest Night service at 6:30 on the 18th, and our Christmas Eve service begins at 6:30PM on December 24th.
Easter
Maundy Thursday service starts at 6:30PM on the Thursday before Easter. Our community sunrise service is on Easter Sunday on the south campus of Lees McRae College, “Resurrection Hill” at 7AM.
